Author's Inspiration: Inspiration came from a real family that I knew when I was a kid. I had this amazing youth leader when I was a young teen and I thought the moon rose and fell on her, and this was how I pictured her life. She's still an amazing person, but she lived in this beautiful mansion and was the nicest person I know. That's how this series came about.

The only thing I love more than writing is my family! I adore my kids and my nieces and nephews. I'd do anything in the world for them. I think to have success without having friends and family would be a lonely life. I get to have this dream career and have wonderful people around me. It doesn't get much better than this. I also happen to have the most supportive fans ever. I smile each time I check facebook, and love how much they have embraced my characters, even those characters that need smacked in the head with a cast iron cooking pan. There is no better career out there than being an author. I have to pinch myself every once in a while just so I know its not all a dream.

Favorite Food: Hard one, probably mexican food. I love it!! Second close is cheesy doritos

Favorite place to write: My office. It's a mess and I love it.

Favorite TV Show: At the moment it's Vampire Diaries, but I love Supernatural, Greys anatomy, and more. I just don't get to watch too many right now.

Favorite Music: Oh, that's a hard one. I love country, could listen night and day. I'm in love with several artists, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, the list goes on and on. I do like fun pop music too. I have a writing playlist and a lot of the Pussycat doll songs are on there. Those women kick butt. I love Christina Aguilera, too, and an alltime favorite of Kelly Clarkson. I love the American Idol winners, because I know how they feel. I feel the same way everytime someone buys my books.
