A Furry Mystery. The story of the disappearing ferret : Free Kindle Book

Editor's Note: Here's a delightful children's book full of mystery and furry friends. We think it will make for a wonderful addition to your bedtime routine. Grab this now to enjoy with the little ones if your life!

The author's use of descriptive and colorful language helps to create a very engaging story for young readers.

Book Description: THE FURRY MYSTERY is a beautifully illustrated children's book that tells the story of young Ragnor Hort who finds himself alone when a hurricane destroys the village of Chatham. Surviving on his own for years, Ragnor discovers someone else lives in Chatham – a cute ferret named Jordalast.  The two become friends and spend all of their time together. Everything seems to be going well, until…Cunillski, The Fiercest Ferret Hunter comes to town to hunt ferrets, including Jordalast!

Author's Inspiration: I love animals and making mystery stories about them. I travelled to the south one summer and I remember being in a bad storm.  Friendship is important to me...and friendship with animals, too. These are the things that inspired this story.

Curtis Robert

It was in first grade that Curtis Robert learned to read, and believe or not, he wasn’t too excited about it! It wasn’t until 3rd. grade that Curtis’ friend shared with him the magical Harry Potter series ….and then he read one after another. That was when he first started to write…and write…and write. His teacher would say he is really into his work; and he didn’t stop! Curtis is currently in the 4th grade and happily typing away and doing local book readings at his school and other local places.

The summer before entering 4th. grade, Curtis wrote his first book, “The Scaly Mystery”, which is a story about his family’s beloved Lizzy –the lizard who ran away. The book was sold throughout the neighborhood to many friends and fans and received great reviews. My next book that will be published is one called Buggee's Diary, but I have many other books that are in process.

Favorite Food: I love pizza and sometimes fruits and vegetables.

Favorite Place to Write: My most favorite place to write is in my front yard, where I can look at nature, which I love to be in.

Favorite Music: Soul and Rock music

Favorite TV Show: My favorite tv show is probably one called Phineas and Ferb because the two boys have a crazy imagination, which I like to say I have.

Little Trouble in Tall Tree : Free Kindle Book

Editor's Note: Baby gangsters. The idea is almost as absurd as it is awesomely funny- we can't wait to read this one!

A hilarious and orginal book for kids and adults alike!

Book Description: This is a Baby Noir mystery set in the peaceful, leafy town of Tall Tree. Join Mama's Boy in his journey into the brutal baby gangster underworld ofthe baby hoodlum wars.

Readers who like Go the F**k to Sleep, The Godfather, or Disney will like LITTLE TROUBLE IN TALL TREE.

Author's Inspiration: Everything was going along smoothly until the day his wife gave birth to their first child, a son, in 2011. From then on, Michael was smitten. Smitten first with his son, to be sure. But second, Michael found himself smitten with his son’s enormous, round cheeks. Watching the boy navigate the world, responding to his commands for milk, toys, and apple sauce, and observing the baby’s capacity for an imperious eye and flashes of temper when things didn’t go his way, Michael soon realized that the child could well be the leader of a secret baby underworld gang in search of control over the key commodities of infant life. So he started calling his son Squeezy the Cheeks and made up stories about his gang. Baby Noir was born.

Michael Fertik

Michael Fertik lives in Palo Alto, California with his wife and son. He has a day job in Silicon Valley.  When Michael shared some of the Baby Noir stories with friends, they confessed that their kids were noirish infant desperadoes, too, recklessly and relentlessly intriguing and bruising their way toward dominance over the household trade in baby formula, milk bottles, blankets, and more. Some of those kids have made their way into the stories as characters. After discussion with family, Michael decided to publish so that he could share the tales with moms and dads of other infant gangsters around the world. Pretty much every parent has a child who is a baby gangster, Michael has realized, with squeezable cheeks or noses or feet, and always on a desperate and determined mission for the milk.

MY FAVORITE HOBBY: Squeezing his son's enormous, round cheeks every day.

J Adams

As a children's book author I really enjoyed creating this Kindle book and I hope it will be the first of many. Journey With Me ABC's grew out of a desire to create the types of childrens books that can be enjoyed by both parents and children together.

I want to encourage parents to read to their children. Studies have shown that reading to children is an invaluable activity that will help children to build literacy skills. Not to mention helping children to develop a love of reading.
