How To Gift A Book On Amazon
Mother’s Day is coming up, and you’ve decided to get your mom a great book. BUT – you want to send it to her electronically. No worries. We’re going to show you how to do it!
1. Find the book you want on Amazon. Here’s the thing: as far as we can tell, you can’t gift a free book. If you see a book on Freebooksy that you think your Mom will love, email her the link! If you find a book that’s not free, you can gift it to her. We’re using “My Big Fake Irish Life” by Caitlin McKenna.
2. Click ‘Give As A Gift’ – it’s a button right below ‘Buy Now With 1-Click.’
3. Enter the recipient’s email address and the date you want the book to get to her. Say you want to buy it today, but have your mom get it on May 13th. Just click on May 13th where it says ‘Now’ and that’ll happen! You can also include a gift message if you so choose. Make sure your billing information is correct, as well.
4. You’re done! You’ll recieve a confirmation email, and your recipient will get an email on the day that you choose. Here’s what it looks like:

Two Beach Reads That I Actually Paid For (and love)
I work for Freebooksy, so 90% of the books that I read are free. However, I do buy books on occasion!
I can’t tell you how much I love Sophie Kinsella’s books. There. I said it. They’re by no means intellectual, but her novels are perfect for lying on the beach (or by the pool, or in the bathtub) with your ereader.
I haven’t read all of her books (she published several under the name Madeline Albright and I haven’t read any of them), but here are my two favorites:
